Kate Lymer

Borough Councillor for Bickley
Educated at Newstead Wood School in Orpington, Kate graduated from the University of York with a 2:1 degree in Politics & Philosophy and has worked locally in recruitment consultancy for over 10 years.

Elected in 2010, Kate has been an active member of the Council and has served on a Planning Committee, the Development Control Committee and the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education. Kate is the Council's representative on the board at Bromley Youth Music Trust and the Bromley Community Fund. Since 2010 Kate has served as the Vice Chairman on the Portfolio for Public Protection & Safety and attends monthly meetings with the Borough Commander.

Living locally with her husband and 2 young children, Kate is a Governor at Bickley Primary School and on the management committee of Wood Lodge Living Skills Centre in Bickley. Kate was delighted to be Deputy Manor for Bromley for the civic year 2014/15.
